IRS FORM 8962-PREMIUM TAX CREDIT

If you filed a tax return and have had purchased health insurance from Healthcare.gov you will receive a form 1095-A.

The form 8962 should be filed with your tax return to calculate your Premium Tax Credit.

If this is not filed with your tax return, the IRS will not release your tax refund until the form is completed.

Upon purchase you will receive a completed Form 8962. It will be sent Certified Mail to the appropriate IRS office in accordance with your state. You will receive a completed copy and a tracking number for your records.
